Last week Prospect Heights and Wheeling firefighters conducted annual Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting training using a mobile fire training prop. Evolutions were conducted at Chicago Executive Airport and presented by ARFF Specialists of Minnesota. Three days of training, one for each of the three shifts, was conducted and more than 60 firefighters from the two departments participated.

In 2020 the PHFD obtained a grant to conduct this training. Last year and this year Chicago Executive Airport funded the training. We are extremely grateful to CEA for providing our firefighters with this opportunity.
